Overview

Influential Women is NIDA Corporate’s premium training program tailored specifically to female-identifying professionals wanting to reach their full potential as leaders. No matter where you are in your career, if you aspire to boost your professional confidence, take charge of your internal narrative, and ignite your gravitas, look no further than this women leaders' course.

Over two days, you’ll be given the space and freedom to elevate your communication and presentation abilities. This one-of-a-kind female leadership program harnesses the talents of NIDA actors in immersive role-play scenarios, developing your skills and resilience when navigating challenging interactions.

Course Components

• Identify and review your current communication style.
• Develop your voice for effective communication in the workplace.
• Examine the use of body language and its contribution to communication.
• Plan for successful communication by taking control of the given elements.
• Deliver a business presentation and receive constructive feedback and direction.
• Practise techniques that allow you to confidently manage workplace communication situations.
• Devise, present and receive feedback on a range of communication scenarios.

• Practice skills to build confidence in effective communication.
• Establish techniques to present with composure and gravitas.
• Manage challenging communication scenarios with a range of new tools.
• Develop your physical and vocal presence.

Delivery style

Face-to-face at training venue
9am–5pm, over two consecutive days

How to prepare

Prior to training:
1. Please prepare a short presentation of up to two minutes, which is current and pertinent to your work. You don’t need to prepare or bring PowerPoint slides for your presentation, however, feel free to bring presentation notes if you need a reference.
2. Come prepared with a challenging communication scenario in mind, which is current and pertinent to your work.

On the day:
We look forward to welcoming everyone from 8.30 am for tea and coffee. Please make sure you arrive by 8.45 am to ensure a prompt start. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing to move around in.

Arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Course Fee

$2,725 GST Inc. per person. This course has a maximum of eight people.
