Course Components

- Examine how body language and physical energy affect audience perceptions.
- Explore how to respond effectively in the moment by putting improvisation techniques into practise.
- Plan for successful media presentations.

- Display an improved ability to respond ‘in the moment’ to challenging media scenarios and to manage difficult questions effectively and calmly.

What to Expect on the Day

- Please prepare and memorise a short two-to-three-minute scripted piece you could say to camera if you were interviewed.
- Ask your colleagues to prepare four to five questions that the media might ask you if you were representing your organisation.
It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat shoes as there may be some movement exercises.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the course and check in with the venue staff to let them know you’ve arrived.

Catering is included as part of the course, with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea served for all participants. If you have dietary requirements, please notify us in advance.
