Catherine McQueen Cawsey
Catherine McQueen Cawsey is an internationally experienced leadership coach, facilitator and communication specialist who helps professionals develop confidence, influence and authentic connection in the workplace. Trained as an actor at London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Catherine brings together the disciplines of performance, leadership development and human communication to create transformative learning experiences for individuals and teams.
Catherine began her performing career in the United Kingdom, working extensively across theatre before appearing in productions ranging from regional theatre and touring productions to London’s West End. Her stage credits include performing opposite Anthony Hopkins in M. Butterfly and appearing in Ben Elton’s first West End play, Gasping. After travelling to Australia via New Zealand, she chose to settle in Sydney and has since built a distinguished career spanning performance, facilitation, coaching and leadership development.
As a facilitator with NIDA Corporate, Catherine specialises in leadership communication, executive presence and interpersonal influence. Her work focuses on helping people move beyond professional roles and titles to communicate with greater authenticity, confidence and impact. Drawing on theatre-based methodologies, she empowers individuals to speak up, connect with others more effectively and develop stronger leadership capability through communication.
Beyond her work with NIDA Corporate, Catherine has extensive experience as a leadership and communication coach across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom. She has also worked extensively with The Ethics Centre, where she has designed and delivered programs exploring ethical leadership, communication and decision-making across both corporate and government sectors. Her facilitation style combines intellectual rigour with warmth, curiosity and practical application, ensuring participants leave with skills that are immediately transferable to the workplace.
