The Challenge
The challenge was not simply strengthening individual communication skills, but creating a more consistent and influential leadership approach across Amgen’s Asia-Pacific Business Unit Directors. Operating in a complex and culturally diverse region, these leaders are responsible for navigating high-stakes conversations, engaging senior stakeholders and translating global strategy into local execution. Amgen identified an opportunity to build greater confidence, presence and alignment in how leaders communicate and represent the organisation.
The NIDA Corporate Training Solution
NIDA Corporate Training designed and delivered a fully customised executive communication program for Amgen’s Asia-Pacific Business Unit Directors. As our most immersive leadership communication offering, the program combined practical application, personalised coaching and evidence-based techniques to build executive presence, strengthen communication impact and extend leadership influence. Working with the client’s regional Head of HR, we consolidated the bespoke program to meet five key learning outcomes, addressing their capability challenges.
Through leadership communication scenarios, practical exercises and individual coaching, business unit leaders developed and practiced the skills to communicate with greater confidence, authority and credibility in high-stakes stakeholder interactions.
Our Impact
