
Anna Houston
Anna has over 15 years’ experience as a corporate trainer, delivering communication workshops for a diverse range of participants from all sectors, both in the training room and online. As one of NIDA Corporate Training’s most experienced core trainers, Anna is always reading and researching so she can expand her vocal and physical communication techniques with her corporate clients. She holds a Bachelor of Communication and Cultural Studies from Curtin University in Perth, where she was awarded the Cultural Studies medal for her studies on how gender and status impact communication.
Anna trained as an actor at NIDA, graduating in 2004. After winning the Mike Walsh and Gloria Payten/Gloria Dawn fellowships, Anna trained in physical theatre at the esteemed L’Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris. She has performed for Australia’s leading theatre companies such as Belvoir St Theatre, Griffin Theatre Company, Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Sport for Jove, Sydney Theatre Company and Bell Shakespeare Company. She toured The National Theatre of London’s production of War Horse, performing over 250 shows. Her screen work includes Blue Heelers, All Saints, A Place to Call Home and the feature film Event Zero.
