Acting Head of NIDA Corporate Training

Michael is a commercially and culturally astute management professional who brings over 25 years’ experience marketing and developing corporate, educational, and public experiences, programs, and events to NIDA Corporate Training.

Prior to joining NIDA, Michael’s background was in business development and establishing specialised business units for leading venues and destinations. Until recently he was Sales and Marketing Manager at The Venue Alexandria, and prior to that was a Business Development Executive at the International Convention Centre and Special Events Producer for Voyages Indigenous Tourism (where he was contracted to lead the first Opera at Uluru with Opera Australia and project managed the installation of the immersive cultural touring experience, Field of Light Uluru). Michael was also Co-Founder & Director of Presentability public speaking training, coaching, and consulting.

He has both a deep appreciation of and passion for media, theatre, and film, having previously been a professional actor, director, an award-winning writer, and a graduate of NIDA Playwrights’ Studio.

Michael recently completed his MBA.
