Course Components

  • Develop your voice for effective communication in the workplace.
  • Identify objectives and learn to plan for successful communication scenarios.
  • Explore obstacles to communication, and strategies to overcome them.
  • Examine the use of body language and its contribution to communication.
  • Adjust communication techniques to ensure the involvement of others.
  • Devise, present and receive feedback on a range of communication scenarios.

Delivery style

Face-to-face at training venue
9am–5pm, over two consecutive days.

How to prepare

Come prepared with a challenging communication scenario in mind, which is current and pertinent to your work.

Some of the communication scenarios that you can workshop in this course include:

  • Hosting meetings
  • Asking for a pay rise
  • Presenting information to varying stakeholders

We look forward to welcoming you from 8:30 am for tea & coffee. Please make sure you arrive by 8:45 am to ensure a prompt start, and wear comfortable clothing to move around in.

Arrival tea & coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
