Senior Course Manager, NIDA Corporate

Di is a NIDA graduate with extensive experience working with clients from both the public and private sectors in communication and presentation skills training. Having taught with NIDA Corporate and NIDA Open, Di’s expertise lies in presenting for camera and the technical delivery of business communication such as video conferencing and online presentations. In addition to her Bachelor of Dramatic Art from NIDA, Di holds a Master of Arts Practice from Charles Sturt University and a Cert IV in Education and Training.

Di has enjoyed a successful acting career in theatre, film and television. She has performed for Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Malthouse Theatre, South Australia Theatre Company as well as in commercial productions and musical theatre. She spent more than a year on commercial breakfast radio with 2DAY FM as a writer and performer and is a published freelance journalist. Di travelled for ten years as a presenter for The Great Outdoors for Seven Network and she is also well known and well-loved as Dr Alex Fraser in A Country Practice. She has also recently produced the TV Pilot Subject to Change.
Di’s teaching experience includes working with the Actors Centre Australia, Screenwise Australia and The Macdonald College for Performing Arts. Di was drama coach on Puberty Blues for Southern Star/Endemol and on Penelope K By the Way, a science show for 5–8 year olds for Freehand TV and ceebeebies (BBC).
